METASwarm Announces Key Hires for Beijing Office

SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- METASwarm, Inc. (Pink Sheets: MSWM -News) today announced that it has hired several key members of its Beijing management team. The Beijing office will manage the testing and rollout of METASwarm's technology to China Unicom's 145,000,000 cellular customers as well as the potential expansion of services to China's total market of almost 500,000,000 cellular users. METASwarm's China Unicom contract alone would equal, in quantity, service provision to the entire universe of cell phone users from every cellular service provider in America. China Unicom showed a record $12.3 billion in revenues for 2006, an almost 25% increase over 2005; the national telecom provider expects 2007 and 2008 revenues to surpass 2006's growth. First quarter revenues for China Unicom are already over 4% higher than 2006 revenues and profits increased over 41% over first quarter 2006.

Zhao LiHe, Director of Wireless Communication

Mr. Zhao is in charge of the development and implementation of METASwarm Hyperswarm Engine, a proprietary wireless information control and management system, on China cell phone networks for the company.

Zhao is a widely-published expert in LEO/cellular, microwave, and value-added mobile and satellite communications. Before joining METASwarm, Mr. Zhao helped lead the International Business division of DATANG Telecom Technology. He was also the Deputy Director of China Potevio International's Marketing department. Armed with a Master's degree, he previously was an engineer with several leading Chinese companies, including China Unicom, BTA and INTELSAT Beijing. He has strong leadership experience in GSM projects, program-controlled exchange projects, LAN integration, optical fiber communications, GPS, network optimization and intelligent building design.

Mr. Zhao graduated from the Communication Engineering Department of the PLA Information Engineering University in China and obtained his Masters Degree in Communication Engineering from the same university in 1996.

Meng Jing, Director of Internet Information

Mr. Meng joins METASwarm as the Company's Director of the Internet Information department and leads a team of experienced internet technology specialists in the development and implementation of METASwarm's proprietary anti-spam, anti-fraud and validation system based on the Hyperswarm Engine in China's internet market.

Before joining METASwarm, he was the Deputy General Manager of the ET Business Department for Net263, Ltd. (previously named Beijing Capital Online) and was responsible for business sales and marketing strategy as well as product planning. He spent over 8 years in Net263 and used to be the Beijing Regional General Manager, Beijing Regional Sales Director, the Customer Business Center Director and IDC Sales Department Manager respectively during his employment with Net263.

Mr. Meng has strong management training from Bokeli Consulting's Enterprise Management Training program, sales training from Nokia and technical training in CISCO CCNA and Intel systems. Mr. Meng has an MBA from

British Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor's degree from North China University of Technology.

Lu Gang, Director of Mobile Applications

Mr. Lu has a very high level of experience in product/R&D as well as operational and marketing expertise in SMS, MMS, WAP, IVR and CRBT technologies. He has worked with many of China's top telecom VAS operators and ISPs with particular knowledge in creating and managing R&D, product and operations teams.

Before joining METASwarm, Mr. Lu was CEO of Aiyo, Ltd., an innovative gaming portal aimed at non-MMORPG gamers. He was also a Director for Hurray! Co., a Nasdaq-listed China market leader in value-added wireless services such as ringtones, picture downloads, community portals and entertainment services for mobile phone users. At Hurray!, Mr. Lu was in charge of the creation, operations and promotion of the system and operational platform for SMS, MMS (CM), PDA (CM) and color email (CU) systems. He was also in charge of the Kjava, Unija, BREW and streaming product lines while also creating the cross-platform product plan for SMS, MMS, WAP, IVR and CRBT systems. Previously, he also worked for Nasdaq-listed TOM Online as Operational Director of CNC/CTC BU, Product Director for 95ArtHome, Co-Founder and CTO of Beijing Broadway Co., and R&D Director for China Putian Smartcomm. He has a Master's degree from the Beijing Institute of Technology.
